The countdown is near it's end!

It stands now only 12 day until the World Cup 2014 begins, and I am currently shrouded in excitement.
By looking at the teams, I would say Spain and Brazil are favourites but what do you guys think?
Also, the FIFA 14 world cup ultimate team is awesome! I got Ronaldo in my 3rd pack. This is only building on my excitement man!

Tuesday Footy News!

Exciting Champions League final!

Unluckily, Diego Costa had to be taken off in the opening 10 minutes of the final. After the 90 minutes Atletico Madrid were 1-0 due to the 'scrappy' goal they scored, as people are putting it. However, this lead only lasted until the final moments of extra time when Sergio Ramos scored a last minute equaliser.
From this moment, it was as if Atletico Madrid had fell back and created a defensive mentality. Soon enough, Gareth Bale scored a header to go 2-1 up, and Cristiano Ronaldo scored a penalty to finish it 3-1.
Brilliant game, but do you guys think Diego Costa could have changed it?

Champions League Final!

Excitement swarms within us as we now wait only hours for the Spanish clash in the UEFA Champions League final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid at 19:45 (British time).

Two world class teams (obviously) who are both capable of winning it, however unfortunately for Atletico Madrid, Diego Costa will be unable to play due to an injury a few weeks ago playing Barcelona in their title decider.

Who do you guys think will win? In my opinion I think Atletico will! But they could struggle without their star striker!

It appears that manager Van Gaal will be making some interesting transfers during the summer break. Rumors claim he is interested in having the following starting 11 by the end of the summer -

three forwards - Van Persie, Roonie, and Robben!

It appears that Manchester Unted are on the lookout for another Arsenal player - Bacary Sagna who they feel will solidify the defense. Also, Manchester United aim to strengthen their midfield by claiming Bayern Munich's Toni Kroos as a potential target.
Liverpool are close to placing a transfer bid of €12m for Bayern Leverkusen midfielder Emre Can.
Lionel Messi of Barcelona has also signed an improved Barca deal by extending his contract until 2018.
